Students are expected to earn 15 points per semester by taking Accelerated Reader quizzes. By the end of the year, students are expected to have 30 Accelerated Reader points.
HOW IT WORKS:
-Students read books at home and in the classroom. We will have AR reading time on most Mondays.
-Once students finish a book, they can take a quiz on the book.
- Students must score a 70% or above for the quiz to count.
-Students can earn prizes for the points that they accumulate throughout the year. The top five AR point earners at the end of the year will get a special goody bag of prizes from the teacher.
December: 15 Points Due (Worth 20 Points Toward Reading Grade)
May: 30 Points Due (Worth 20 Points Toward Reading Grade)
